Communication officer

Location: Remotely

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Establish communication strategies that include campaign and event priorities.
  • Prepare and implement communication and publishing plans an editorial calendars for each program.
  • Establish and follow-up partnership outreach and joint campaigns.
  • Coordinate and follow up with web developers and participate in designing and updating SFJN and Qalat websites
  • Organise the internal communication
  • Manage Social Media accounts
  • Prepare and send monthly and seasonal newsletters
  • Provide reports using Google Analytics statistics for the website as well as, regular reports from social media platform data (follows, likes, post sharing)
  • Organise and coordinate physical (in-person) and online events and campaigns (according to plans and priorities).

Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in communication, advocacy and digital content management
  • Expertise in managing social media accounts
  • Expertise in content creation and management
  • Advanced level of writing in Arabic and English
  • General knowledge in design programs (Photoshop, mailchimp..)
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work remotely with a diverse team
