Job Vacancy: Communication Officer

Location: Remote

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies, prioritising advocacy campaigns and events.
  • Create and implement communication and publishing plans and editorial calendars for each program.
  • Establish and manage partnership outreach and collaborative campaigns.
  • Coordinate with web developers, actively designing and updating SFJN and Qalat websites.
  • Organise internal communications.
  • Oversee Social Media account management.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and seasonal newsletters.
  • Generate reports utilising Google Analytics statistics for the website and regular reports from social media platforms (followers, likes, post sharing).
  • Organise and coordinate physical (in-person) and online events and campaigns based on plans and priorities.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication, advocacy, and digital content management.
  • Proficient in managing social media accounts.
  • Expertise in content creation and management.
  • Advanced proficiency in written Arabic and English.
  • Basic knowledge of design programs (e.g., Photoshop, Mailchimp).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work remotely within a diverse team.
